To celebrate the release of the Welsh Quick Reads books (published by Accent Press), including my novella Cwtch Me If You Can, I attended and spoke at the launch in Cardiff Bay. 

Literature on the Lawn Day in Caerleon

I did a Q&A with Adrian Masters for Caerleon's Literature on the Lawn Day, which was part of their Arts Festival. I talked about my writing journey and my books.

Wattpad London Con

On December 13th, there was a Wattpad 'con' (think Comic Con - it's a meet-up with panels!) in London.

​There were panels with successful Wattpad authors, including me, Abigail Gibbs, Natasha Preston, Laure Eve, Taran Matharu, Amy Alward (though you may know her as Amy McCulloch) and many more! It was a really amazing day - with signings and swag galore.

YALC (YA Lit Con)
Sunday 13th July 2014, London Film and Comic Con

I had the fantastic opportunity to speak on the 'I'm Too Sexy For This Book' panel at YALC, with James* (*Juno) Dawson, Cat Clarke and Non Pratt for a frank discussion about sex in YA fiction. The panel was attended by over 300 people and many said it was their favourite panel of the whole weekend!

Exeter's Exetreme Imagination Children's Literary Festival
Saturday 25th October - Saturday 1st November 2014, Exeter
I was the Guest Youth Curator at Exetreme Imagination - Exeter's Children's Literary Festival. On Wednesday 30th October, I did a Q&A, as well as two writing workshops. Darren Shan, Anthony McGowan, Mal Peet, Meg Rosoff and more fabulous authors hosted events throughout the week, and you can learn more here

WIRED UK Next Generation
Saturday 18th October 2014, Tobacco Dock, London

I was lucky enough to be at the WIRED Next Generation event in London Tobacco Docks, an event to inspire 12-18 year olds in various aspects of STEM. I gave a talk about my venture into online publishing (with The Kissing Booth) and what that meant for me. Other guests included Andy Serkis (whom I was able to meet!) and Rizzle Kicks. Children's Media Conference 2015
Thursday 2nd July, Sheffield
I was invited to speak as one of the CMC's 2015 'Changemakers', to talk about my journey from writing in secret to being dubbed the 'Dickens of the iPad generation' (by The Guardian). I was lucky enough to speak at this conference where I met people from Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network/Boomerang, as well as many other producers, screenwriters, and associates.

Malvern Comprehensive, School Visit

I visited Malvern Comprehensive school to talk to some of the students and run writing workshops with them.
